New ZOW advisory board
Perfect cross-section of the industry

Horst Rudolph, managing director of Clarion Survey, is very satisfied with the new line-up: “Following an in-depth dialogue with industry representatives, we have chosen people who form a representative cross-section of the industry.” The companies represented by the board members each represent a specific product segment or an important exhibitor region for ZOW. Nobilia represents the East Westphalian furniture industry, making it the first representative of visitors to the trade fair; Hettich Furntech represents lighting and wholesale trade; and Interprint represents the surface and decoration sector.

Niemann Möbelteile has been exhibiting at ZOW since the early days and represents the product groups of furniture parts and panels; Siro-Camar covers the full range of furniture accessories; fittings specialist Salice represents Italy; and HPL manufacturer Westag represents the East Westphalia region.

The new advisory board already has a full agenda. Its main task is to work with the organisers to make ZOW a trade fair fit for the future and maintain the status of the East Westphalia region as Europe’s leading cluster for the furniture industry. “We want to create a real working committee where ideas are developed, discussed and critiqued and decisions are made,” says Rudolph.

There is a whole series of conceptual and organisational changes on the horizon for ZOW, which will be implemented over the next two years. “Clarion Survey’s aim is to be a service provider to industry, which is why we value enormously the continuous input from ZOW exhibitors,” says Rudolph. An advisory board will shortly be appointed for ZOW Istanbul as well.

The organiser and advisory board of ZOW will rise to the challenges with drive and creativity and do everything possible to make ZOW fit for the future. After all, East Westphalia is the very heart of the German furniture industry.
