FKM 2007 Visitor Structure Audit: ZOW awarded Top Marks by Trade Public
ZOW - Zuliefermesse Ost-Westfalen [East Westphalia Supplier Show] - has once again received top ratings from its trade visitors. That's the result of the FKM (Gesellschaft zur freiwilligen Kontrolle von Messe- und Ausstellungszahlen or Society for Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics) official visitor structure audit. The independent audit society questioned more than 1,000 national and international trade visitors in the ZOW exhibition halls in Bad Salzuflen over all show days (February 26 - March 1, 2007).
The design of the exhibition halls was rated as "totally satisfactory" or "very satisfactory" by 87.3 percent. The ZOW opening times were deemed to be "totally satisfactory" or "very satisfactory" by 87.3 percent of visitors. Top marks were also awarded by 87.6 percent to ZOW personnel for their helpfulness and by 77.1 percent to the catering service.
Decision-Makers make up more than 70 Percent
Analysis of the visitor structure from the representative FKM survey confirms ZOW as one of the crucial dates in the industry decision-makers' calendar: more than 70 percent of the visitors surveyed in 2007 belong to senior management - as self-employed business people, CEOs, central department managers, authorized officers and group directors. This means that more than 70 percent exercise pivotal and critical influence in purchase or procurement decisions. A further 14 percent indicated that they were involved in an advisory capacity at this level of decision-making in their company. The great majority of those questioned had also attended ZOW in previous years. The average time trade visitors spent at the show this year was 1.53 days according to the FKM analysis.
Show organizer, Survey, is delighted by the - traditionally high - level of satisfaction on the part of ZOW trade visitors and sees this as an endorsement of its proven concept of placing people, products and contacts at the heart of the ZOW service package. CEO Peter H. Meyer responds: "We want to go on improving year after year. Visitor approval motivates us to develop ZOW and its unique concept on into the future to become even more attractive to all actors in the industry."
