2006 ZOW Visitors' Competition:
They came looking for innovation and took away a classic!

This year’s ZOW – the Zuliefermesse Ost-Westfalen (East Westphalia Supplier Show) for the furniture industry and interior design sector – didn't just present a broad palette of the latest product developments. Trade visitors to exhibition halls 19 to 23 in Bad Salzuflen/Germany also had the chance to encounter design classics – and to win one! Five Vitra Lounge Chairs and Ottoman now have proud new owners.

Supported by Vitra GmbH (based in Weil am Rhein in Germany), show organizer Survey Marketing + Consulting GmbH & Co. KG (Bielefeld) placed entry boxes in all six ZOW halls alongside models of furniture classics. Once they had finished looking round the show, visitors who had collected a stamp at each of the six locations could take part in a prize draw to win one of five Lounge Chair and Ottoman combinations designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1956.

The five lucky winners whose tickets were pulled out from among almost 1,000 entries included Rüdiger Kolb, Doris Reichert and Felix Schram from Germany, while two more of the collectors' items went to Lithuania and Sweden. Survey and Vitra would like to thank all those who took part and pass on their sincere congratulations to all the winners.

And if you're already making plans for next year, the next ZOW 2007 and E3S special exhibition will take place from February 26 through March 1, 2007, at the Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Center.
