ZOW 2010 in Bad Salzuflen with TrendLab
Forum for material and design competence in Hall 23.1

ZOW in Bad Salzuflen is a showcase for modern design ideas in the furniture industry and interior design, trade fair construction and retail design, architecture and design. Between 8 and 11 February 2010, ZOW organiser Survey provide exhibitors and visitors with “TrendLab”, a forum in Hall 23.1 which will present and effectively showcase trendsetting topics for the sector. This creative environment will give visitors a compact overview of the latest ideas and developments in materials, design and technology.

Each year, ZOW in Bad Salzuflen provides its customers from the furniture industry and interior design, architecture and design with a distinctive special event with a wide product portfolio. ZOW provides a professional platform for the hot topics of the future in the furniture industry and interior design.

In 2010, Hall 23.1 will be home to a special topics forum. The workshop atmosphere will invite all interested exhibitors and visitors to discover, explore and share their knowledge from various fields. The open, appealing design of the hall will allow the creative juices to flow between the individual forum topics. The architectural lounge (a-lounge) will be the central starting point for architects and designers with a focus on universal design in 2010. The winning products of the supplier award, M Technology Award 2009, will be presented right next to it. igeL lightweight construction and the material show MaterialZ will be among the other exciting topics covered.

a-lounge:

The a-lounge will provide an attractive specialist programme that is free to all exhibitors and visitors interested in architecture, interior design and design. Each day, it will be the showcase for creative ideas for intelligent product design, homing in on the current focal point of universal design. In addition to attending an extensive exhibition, visitors will also have the opportunity to swap their latest opinions and experiences with famous specialists. The a-lounge will also be the starting point for guided information tours around the trade fair. The programme for the a-lounge will be available online from January 2010 at www.zow.de.

M Technology Award 2009: the winners

In October 2009, the winners of the M Technology Award 2009 were announced to the trade at ZOW in Verona/Italy. ZOW in Bad Salzuflen will showcase the 20 winning product solutions from the international supplier industry in a special presentation in Hall 23.1.

Intelligent lightweight construction with igeL

Both young and renowned companies from the international supplier industry will present their clever lightweight construction solutions for the furniture and fittings industry right next to the architectural lounge. Interessengemeinschaft Leichtbau e.V. (igeL) (www.igel-ev.net) will form the focal point of the exhibition.

MaterialZ: new ideas for creative designers
