Furniture extravaganza in Shanghai - ZOW is in on the action from 11 - 15 September 2008
The next ZOW exhibition in Shanghai, the key business event for the furniture and interiors industry in China, will be held from 11 - 15 September 2008 at the new venue in the JSWB Global Home Furnishings Center. The show will run at the same time as the Shanghai Furniture Sourcing Fair 2008 and China International Furniture Fair. In September the booming city of Shanghai is set to welcome the movers and shakers in the international furniture industry – and ZOW will be there in the heart of the action. Many prominent suppliers from China and abroad have already booked their places at our show. Organiser Survey Asia anticipates more than 150 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors at ZOW 2008.
Survey’s choice of JSWB’s Global Home Furnishings Center as the new venue is an important strategic move. JSWB’s Furnishings Center is the most modern exhibition center in Shanghai, and with a permanent furniture exhibition represents China’s largest and most famous direct selling center. It ranks alongside High Point in the USA and offers the best possible logistics connections for a successful ZOW. The center is situated near the downtown of Shanghai with its vibrant nightlife, hotels, shopping centres and Hongqiao Domestic Airport. The international airport at Pudong is also easily accessible via the ring road. Regular shuttle buses will operate between JSWB and Shanghai’s trade fairs, events and selected hotels.Last year the limited space available at the old venue meant that a lot of exhibitors were left on the waiting list, but ZOW has now enough space for everyone who wants to participate. The new venue combines a modern infrastructure and an attractive location. The site is surrounded by landscaping and water features, which create a pleasant atmosphere outside the exhibition halls and provide a space to relax and unwind. It’s an ideal setting for the ZOW workshop concept, recognized worldwide for the enhanced communication and customer orientated facilities it offers. Here decision-makers from companies in the furniture and interiors industry can do efficient business on the spot.
ZOW founder Peter H. Meyer and Bernd Rademacher, head of Survey Asia, are extremely satisfied with the new strategic partnership with JSWB and the International Sourcing Fair. This partnership will reinforce ZOW’s position as the leading supplier fair for the furniture and interiors industry in China and offer exhibitors the desired high-quality market environment.
The new site is fully in line with Survey’s quality philosophy for ZOW in Shanghai. “In China the three letters ZOW have already come to stand for high-quality supplier products for innovative furniture,” says Rademacher, who goes on to explain that Survey will be working hard to give this good reputation an even higher profile. Anyone who wants to see the evidence for themselves can come to the JSWB Global Home Furnishings Center during ZOW to discover a wide range of interesting furniture items from China, Italy, Germany, the United States and South East Asia. This is furniture at its most refined!
