70 percent of ZOW’s expert audience with decision-making authority are from Germany. More than 7.500 of them are based in East Westphalia, the core region of the domestic furniture manufacturing industry, with another 4.000 representing other parts of Germany. Some 30 percent of the fair’s audience visit the show from European countries, particularly the Benelux region, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and Poland. The influx of international ZOW visitors is constantly growing.

In 2012 ZOW is the only supply fair for the furniture and interior design industries taking place in Germany. This means it is only here where orders will be placed. This is where the most significant deals of the year will be made.

ZOW in Bad Salzuflen takes place precisely where furniture is made – in East Westphalia. This is the central hub of Germany’s furniture and kitchen industries. This region alone has an annual turnover of six billion euros. 40 percent of all furniture components and 70 percent of all kitchens produced in Germany originate here. One out of every three kitchens in Europe is manufactured in East Westphalia.
