ZOW 2012 in Bad Salzuflen: A great number of bookings has already been recorded

Sales for ZOW 2012, which is going to run between 6 and 9 February at the exhibition centre Bad Salzuflen, are off to a great start. Barely three months after ZOW 2011 has ended, half of the planned exhibition space in the ZOW halls for 2012 has already been booked.

Daniel Pein, sales director at ZOW organiser Clarion Events Deutschland GmbH (Bielefeld/Germany), is pleased with the positive results. "At ZOW 2011, an extremely successful sales action was implemented and a large number of exhibitors already registered for the 2012 edition while the trade fair was still running. In the follow-up, and in light of the excellent results of the trade fair, we were able to win many more of our existing customers for next year's edition. However, many new customers are also very interested in ZOW 2012. In only three month's time, 50% of the entire exhibition space has been booked. At the beginning of May, we were able to record more than 220 definite registrations.

The early and active demand is not limited to domestic exhibitors, Pein says: "Our international sales branch offices In Scandinavia, Southern and Eastern Europe, Turkey and Asia confirm the great development of sales in the run-up to the next ZOW in Bad Salzuflen. 40 percent of all registrations for 2012 were made by foreign exhibitors. The Italian suppliers are once again at the helm, but great sales results could also be made to Polish, Scandinavian and Spanish suppliers. One thing is already for sure: In 2012, our exhibitor portfolio will once again be international and particularly diverse."

This will please the trade visitors, since ZOW 2012 is going to have a special position as the only supplier fair for the furniture industry and interior design in Germany. Next February, the halls of ZOW will be packed with the latest innovations of the international supplier industry, right on time for the order date. The market leaders, who will showcase in Bad Salzuflen in 2012, include companies such as Cebi Kilit, Grass, Impress Decor, Julius Blum, Konrad Hornschuch, Renolit, Schattdecor or Vauth-Sagel, just to name a few. Many other domestic and foreign specialists and local suppliers will also make their contribution to the product diversity and quality of this industry venue.

As a high-impact trend-show, ZOW traditionally also provides a platform for future topics of furniture construction and interior design. Since 2008, ZOW has been offering Germany’s first large lightweight furniture construction forum for manufacturers and operators from the industry, interior design and crafts. Right in the middle of the largest furniture cluster East Westphalia, ZOW is going to showcase exciting and innovative lightweight construction ideas. In addition, furniture fabrics and upholstery materials have been presented in the new forum "fabrics by ZOW" since 2011. With this, event organiser Clarion Survey has created the foundation for a new supplier fair for the European seating and upholstery industry. Next year, companies from Europe are going to showcase the highlights of the upcoming season in an attractively designed product show. These include: Furniture fabrics, leather, micro-fibre materials, buttons, yarns, upholstery materials and technical fabrics. With “fabrics by ZOW”, ZOW is providing the industry with an attractive stage for innovations and strengthens its position as a central meeting point for the German furniture industry’s top purchasers.
