fabrics by ZOW - furniture textiles at ZOW
In 2011 ZOW has started a new project at the supply trade show for the European seating and upholstery furniture industries with the fabrics by ZOW forum. This is where innovative companies from Europe present the next season’s highlights: furniture textiles, leathers, microfibers, buttons, yarns, upholstery and technical fabrics. Additional service features in furniture construction make production niches more and more common across manufacturing environments. This is increasingly true for seating furniture and interior design.
In offering this forum, fabrics by ZOW uses the synergy that arises from ZOW’s holistic presentation aimed at technical buyers and designers. Here both visitor groups can align their visions directly with the technical capabilities of a product.

Lightweight Construction Forum (igeL members only))
ZOW is the professional platform for the future trends in furniture construction and interior design. Since 2008 ZOW offers Germany’s first large lightweight furniture engineering forum for producers and users from the industry, interior design and the crafts. The lightweight engineering joint venture igeL (igeL association - www.igel-ev.net), which acts as an umbrella for a multitude of companies with lightweight construction capabilities, has supported this important technology with a dedicated space on the show floor since 2009. igeL members and institutions exclusively demonstrate their know-how and new solutions along the entire value chain. These forward-looking solutions make Bad Salzuflen the place where standards are set for the future.
