ZOW bookings far higher than expected

Decision-makers and general players in the international furniture and furnishings trade have a fixed annual date in their business diaries: ZOW, the International Supply Fair for Furniture Industry and Interior Design, in Bad Salzuflen in February. From 10 to 13 February next year, halls 19 to 22 of the East Westphalian trade fair centre will once again welcome exhibitors and visitors from around the world. The number of exhibitors who have already booked for this "must-see" event in 2014 is high.

After show report ZOW 2013

For furniture suppliers looking for a direct way into the important German furniture market, the 19th ZOW international supplier fair for the furniture industry and interior design proved to be the ideal platform for presenting their wares and making contacts and it came at just the right point in the year. From 18-21 February 2013, 402 companies from 27 countries exhibited at the Bad Salzuflen exhibition centre, including 60 first-time exhibitors from 15 different countries.

Danish Exhibitors Celebrate Anniversary

It all started with thirteen pioneers: in 1999, the first Danish suppliers exhibited on a joint space at ZOW. Since then, trade professionals in Bad Salzuflen can look forward to regular participation by Danish companies each year – and the international ZOW exhibitors enjoy the sharply-increasing number of trade visitors from the far north. This year, the group of Danish suppliers will be at ZOW for the 15th time. The celebration will take place on February 19 with guests from the business and political worlds.

"Day of wood coating" at ZOW 2013

Future-oriented developments in coating technology for wood and wood-based materials are among the hottest topics in the European furniture industry. At the "Day of wood coating" at ZOW 2013, the DFO – German Research Association for Surface Treatment, will present new concepts and technologies that can significantly improve quality, safety, economy, and sustainability in production. For example, the DFO experts regard as especially promising the new possibilities for assessing damage to wood coatings and the use of new surface types that use foil technology.
